The house is great, service is great, the area is a bit...

The house is great, service is great, the area is a bit rough around the edges. It's fine for me because I have lived in Bogotá before, but if you are travelling with a fussy person this area is not for you. On the upside, the neighbourhood is very lively and there are nice restaurants not far away.

There is a place nearby with very loud music and people yelling, it wasn't great for a quiet and relaxing stay which I was looking forward to.

A bit run down, older, but decent room in great location

Staff was nice, but limited English. Breakfast was delicious and fast. Location was excellent. Room was a little run down and bathroom was just Ok, but for $35/night, it was definitely fine. Most hotels in this part of town look somewhat rundown. It works as long as you're not expecting fancy.

Huge bedroom.

Huge bedroom. Great value for money. Good location.

The shower was quite bad, not very hot or powerful. It was really loud outside which isn’t the fault of the hotel but I don’t think the thin walls helped.

Alright

The location of the Hotel was really good to explore La Candelaria, surrounded by nice restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The staff was really nice and helpful! The breakfast was nice.

Unfortunatelly the room we were given in no way corresponded to the pictures we saw on the website. The room was run down, as was the bathroom and it seemed that was a lot of dust around. It felt to us that room had not been used for a while and did not undergo through any refurbishment as the other rooms (we ended seeing how another room looked and it was nothing compared to ours. It would have made sense to offer us a discount for the room we stayed at.

Only spent one night here. It was hard to find because no sign outside. Even the staff didn't understand why there's no sign, but simply referred to the owner's decision. The place was a bit noisy at night.

This place does not deserve a star rating at all. Remember, historic does not mean good.

Can't think of a thing.

The place was hard to find, no sign of any kind. The road was very rough, neighboring buildings unsightly. Food was repetitive, coffee nearly undrinkable, staff spoke almost no English, always had to ring the bell to gain entrance.

The location in La Candelaria is beautiful.

The location in La Candelaria is beautiful. And from there we could easily make a little hike to the cablecar to Montserrate.

The big room with balcony we booked for two nights was not available on the first night. So we had to stay in an oldfashioned room without any windows in the building nextdoor.

Staff were friendly

The room was cold and dusty, the shower did not have hot water(so cold showers only) the bathroom did not have a separation from from the bedroom, there were large nails sticking out of the floor and the bedroom door had a very flimsy lock on it. Casa Guadalupe was understaffed, the two ladies who worked there were nice but were overrun

Great choice to explore Candelaria

Very central in the Candelaria, great location, can walk everywhere in central Bogota'. Room on the last floor was huge and beautiful.

Breakfast was nice and tasty, but the breakfast room was sooo small and a bit sad (same room where you check in and check out). Guests had to queue for a table, which is really not ideal. A bigger space with nicer tables would make all of the difference...

Dont choose this place, there is several accomodations nearby that offer much more for lower price.

The staff tried but the owner is allocated and doesnt manage the place at all, organisation is disastrous.

We were assigned a room that was not on the pictures on the website. The internet didnt work at all, despite the fact that i kindly asked several times, they just apologised and did nothing about it. In the end i asked if they could at least give some discount due to the fact that there was no internet at all, they said they couldnt.
